DESCRIPTION
Jerry Ordway pencils and inks; cover; 1987; image size 10" x 15"

Iconic Superman cover by Ordway, featuring an absolutely classic image of the Man of Steel in space flying directly towards the reader. Ordway and John Byrne were the main artists on the post-Crisis Superman relaunch, with Adventures of Superman continuing the numbering from the original Superman series from 1939. This cover represents the modern version of Superman perfectly as heroic and powerful, an image worthy of comics' first superhero. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Ordway.
