Known as the Double-Guns Joker Cover, it is one of the greatest Golden Age superhero covers of all time. Tales of THE great comic covers being thrown out by DC are the stuff of legend. Thankfully, this brilliantly designed cover by Jerry Robinson is still alive and well, and ready to find a new home. The Joker is the first and greatest supervillain in comics, and voted among the best villains in all literature.

A 6 Month Interest-Free Time Payment Plan is offered on this lot. Please inquire for details.

The grade of the cover is VG on original, unrestored illustration board. The art is 100% intact. The main condition issue is in the logo/stat area which exhibits tape stains and two tears (the logo stat is the original 1942 stat). Jerry Robinson feels strongly that the decision to put this simply amazing cover through the proper conservation process should lie with the potential buyer. If the buyer of this cover is interested in having it conserved, ComicConnect will handle that process.
