The original art for this Golden Age cover is from the collection of art legend Jerry Robinson. It is being brought to market for the first time in decades. Beautifully rendered by the creator of Batman, Bob Kane and the creator of his arch villain The Joker, Jerry Robinson. A giant image of Batman peering down on Gotham as his faithful chum Robin looks on in amazement as the Batplane takes on a tank terrorizing the citizens of the city.

Golden Age covers are extremely rare. Back in the day original comic art wasn't appreciated or valued. It was casually thrown out or cut up for scrap paper. Just the thought of that happening makes our stomachs queasy. The fact that this cover survived against all odds is incredible and a testament to the foresight of Jerry Robinson.
The twice up cover measures 17.25" x 12.5". Aside from glue stains on the cover this piece is in great condition.
