The third appearance of Iron Man still features the lustrous, shiny gold armor that was modified several issues later. The awkward lurching position of Iron Man along with the contrast of the gold against grey-tone background makes the appearance of Iron Man very dramatic. It is easy to understand why this is a favorite cover of many Silver Age Iron Man collectors.

One of only two copies in 9.6 condition, this copy has a seemingly 3-D look to it. The spine is immaculate. The colors perfect. The pages are an impressive off white to white. Everything one could ever hope for in a copy.
