Batman & The Joker, what more could you want?We lost Marshall way too soon as he was only 47 years old when he passed away in 2007. Arguably one of the modern masters of the Dark Knight mythology, Marshall Rogers' 1970s Batman is loved by comic fans around the world. His ability to take Batman's cape and cowl to the iconic level it deserves is unmatched. This commission from 1979 is evocative of the noir feel Rogers brought to Detective Comics. The jet-black, night-time piece showcases a large image of Batman in the foreground with the Gotham cityscape in the background.
