In recent auctions, the revered Church/Mile High pedigree has garnered increasing prominence and attention, as savvy buyers seek out the best of the best for their world-class collections. Surfacing in the mid-1970s, these remarkable treasures are still the pedigree by which all other vintage comics are measured, impossibly bright, sharp, clean-as-new copies that retain their newsstand-quality luster even into a new century. 


This, then, is the chance of a lifetime  a chance to own a trio of impossibly preserved, stunning Church/Mile High copies. It is hard to believe, but these painfully-scarce early Archie issues have not been offered on the market since their initial sale with the original Church pedigree in the 1970s! While most other Church copies have passed through at least a few hands and collections over the years, these comics are essentially only two owners removed from their original newsstand appearances, preserved in eye-wateringly perfect condition for nearly three-quarters of a century, and finally resurfacing here, in this auction.
