Highest GradedIn this issue, Green Lantern is called before the Guardians of the Universe to explain why he assaulted a slumlord named Jubal Slade, in order to discipline him for interfering in an unauthorized undertaking. Ignoring their warnings, GL assists a district attorney in the incarceration of Slade by helping to collect evidence against him. Once again, the Guardians come down on him for his actions, but Green Arrow jumps to his defense and alerts the council to the dearth of serious issues occurring on Earth, and opens their eyes to new ways in which the duo can assist humankind. This pristine, bright, and vivid copy of Green Lantern 76 is highest graded, only one of two 9.8s on the census. All four edges are sharp and the cover-inks remain as striking as they did when they first hit the newsstands nearly fifty years ago.
