Comics fans will note the work of journeyman craftsman Irv Novick, who famously altered his malleable but still recognizable style to suit the longterm trends of the industry, most notably aping the DC Andru/Infantino-esque house style for Wonder Woman and Blackhawks during the gogo check period, then most famously taking cues from Adams and Giordano and bringing moody yet realistic elegance to 1970s Batman.
