DESCRIPTION
Dani Serra mixed media on watercolor paper; 12" x 18"Dark Horse's beloved Hellboy is depicted here in a serious and moody pose. Hellboy emerges from a wooded area, possibly from a realm unknown to the common man. His figure is partially obscured by the objects around him. His body and his energy appear to move in and out of definition, at times becoming the part of the mysterious environment he is in. It is through Dani Serra's depiction that we can feel how truly otherworldly Hellboy really is.
Dani Serra's artwork is dark, haunting, and wild. His technique will flow from loose washes to tightly controlled brush strokes that keep your eye moving throughout the piece, finding something new every time you look. Serra's unique style has been well received, and his work has been published in Europe, Australia, United States, and Japan!
