The airborne, dismembered eye at the top of the page is so vivid, you'd think it could still see. Michonne herself becomes nauseated with disgust and horror at what she has done and sits apart from her mutilated victim-and-victimizer who continues to both sicken and fascinate her. You can sense Michonne's combined repulsion and obsession in the bottom panel as she looks at what's left of the Governor, whose partly upraised arm shows that he is still alive. As visceral as these images are, it may take some time to decide whether to laugh, cry, or wake up screaming from your nightmare.
