Auction Top Sales: Captain America Comics #1 7.0 $300,150, Batman #1 2.5 $215,000, Whiz Comics (#2) #1 5.5 $188,600, Action Comics #1 $126,500, Fantastic Four #5 9.4 $126,500, and Superman #1 1.0 $101,111.

Golden Age auction highlights include two high-grade Gaines File Copies, a Crime SuspenStories #22 9.4 $90,112, and a Mad #1 9.8 $81,000, Venus #19 8.5 $76,000, Detective Comics #34 8.0 $20,000, Pep Comics #22 3.0 R $29,000, and Vault of Horror #12 9.0 $31,280. 

      

Silver, Bronze, and Modern: Amazing Fantasy #15 6.5 $91,355, Ultimate Fallout #4 9.8 (Variant) $34,755, Tales to Astonish #44 9.6 $56,478, Amazing Spider-Man #1 6.5 $25,875, and Tomb of Dracula #10 9.8 $29,902.

       

Art highlights: Giant-Size Super-Villain Team-Up #2 by Gil Kane $64,400, Al Milgrom’s fantastic cover to Marvel Team-Up #61 featuring Spider-Man and the Human Torch, $40,250, Amazing Spider-Man #311 page 6 by McFarlane $38,525, page 6 from Defenders #10 by Sal Buscema $24,150, a Russ Manning Star Wars Sunday with the first strip appearance of Boba Fett $20,125.

            

In the video game auction, the Nintendo World Championship collection broke $80,000 as the Grey Cart totaled $57,500, the Semi-Finals Cup $8,165, the Seattle Tombstone Plaque $5,980, and the duffle bag $4,715.

Nostalgia reigns supreme for video tape collectors with Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure 9.0 hitting $6,210, Saturday Night Fever 8.5 $4,600, Sleepaway Camp 75 $2,128, and who can forget Debbie Does Dallas 8.0 $1,438.
