Pg. 1; Nestor Redondo pencils and inks; 10.5" x 16"On offer here we have the epic and thrilling Hector Redondo splash from The Unexpected #185 with a gargantuan man-eating octopus attacking a group of mutinous sailors and their captain, which was just the sort of monstrous fare that thrilled readers of the popular horror anthology. Redondo's skill is evident in the fine detail of the octopus as well as the elements of the ship where the action takes place. Bronze Age art is still relatively affordable making pieces from the period a hot commodity in recent auctions.
