Artist Information
Graduated from Chicago Academy of Fine Arts with an English degree, he is considered one of the best magazine illustrators of the 1920s and 30s. He bounced around assisting other artists on strips, and then took over Wash Tubbs which was then changed to Captain Easy. He was the main artist on Captain Easy from the late 1940s to the 1960s.
