Highest GradedThe Fred Guardineer cover for this issue of Adventure Comics is as crisp and clean as the day it was printed, it's as if the passage of time has been suspended for this beautiful copy of a Golden Age classic. Hailing from the revered Edgar Church / Mile High pedigree, there is no better example of this book known to man. The featured story is a Sandman tale of island action concerning a damsel in distress, a tribe of angry savages, and a baddie named Red Hatch, who is summarily dispatched by natives under the sway of the Sandman's gas bombs. The remainder of the book is stuffed to bursting with GA anthology goodies, Barry O'Neill, Socko Strong, and Captain Desmo all contribute, but the real draw is the incredible condition and prestige of owning a Mile High book, and with it, a treasured piece of comic book history.
