Gregory suggests killing MaggieIn their mobile home, the parents of the two boys are fed up with the way Maggie is running things and begin discussing how to handle Carl. In the corner, Gregory informs the bullies' parents that there is a solution and that it involves killing Maggie.
There are many strategies that the different characters in TWD employ in order to survive, brains, stealth, speed, brute force, and then there is Gregory, whose main skills seem to be betrayal, crying, plotting and being a snake in general. The leader of the Hilltop Colony survives mainly by throwing others in his path, and in this wonderful page, Gregory is shown in all of his backstabbing glory, perfectly at peace with his plan to kill Maggie, almost smug about it. It is this depth of character and the deft portrayals of their inner selves through the skilled illustrations that set the Walking Dead apart from the pack when it comes to the modern comic book art form.
