Patsy Walker #1 kept providing lightweight teen-romance humor to balance the ultra-masculine superhero output that was Timely’s bread and butter during the 1940s. Patsy would later join the superhero ranks herself in the Bronze Age, transitioning into the feline heroine Hellcat. A recent romance with Tony Stark has kept Patsy prominently featured in the comics, while the character has also been brought into the small-screen Marvel Comics Universe.
