Early Archie Sunday by his co-creator!This Archie Daily comic strip features the sharp and detailed graphics of Bob Montana, the man who was responsible for drawing the earliest versions of the lovable red-headed troublemaker, and continued working on the character until the mid-70s. The plot here concerns a misunderstanding of disastrous proportions, as the gullible Mr. Weatherbee faints after convincing himself Archie is going to blow up the school, the kind of classic Riverdale hijinx we have all grown to know and love.
Artist Information
Bob Montana was an American comic book artist who created the pop phenomenon named Archie Andrews in Pep Comics, and later in his own self-titled comic. He would also create the template for the many supporting characters inhabiting Riverdale that have stood to this day.
