Pennsylvania Dutch CopyThe Starjammers return to the pages of the X-Men just in time to save Collosus' life, who has just been stabbed by Deathbird, by beaming the team onto their starship. After they are whisked away from danger, Cyclops, and his father, Corsair, spend some quality time bonding and reminding readers of their past history. Meanwhile, Deathbrid is in hot pursuit, along with the Brood, and once again the villainness almost does away with another member of the mutant hero team, this time it is Storm who must be saved by the Starjammers, and just in the nick of time. But will the alliance of X-Men and space pirates be able to save the Earth from the attacking Shi'ar? Another action-packed, space adventure featuring everyone's favorite mutants.

David Emmett Cockrum was an American comics artist known for his co-creation of the new X-Men characters Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colossus as well as the antiheroine Black Cat. Cockrum was a prolific and inventive costume designer who updated the uniforms of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He did the same for the new X-Men and many of their antagonists in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Inker at Marvel and DC, Wiacek worked with John Byrne, Carmine Infantino, John Romita Jr., and Todd McFarlane.
