Reprints: "The Sentinels Live" (from Uncanny X-Men 57), script by Roy Thomas, pencils by Neal Adams, inks by Tom Palmer; Lorna is attacked by a Sentinel; Alex is paralyzed by his terrible and destructive new powers as the X-Men try to figure out how to help him; The Egyptian authorities arrive and the Living Pharaoh tells them to arrest the X-Men. "Mission: Murder" (from UXM 58), script by Roy Thomas, pencils by Neal Adams, inks by Tom Palmer; Sentinels attack Beast and Iceman and Bobby sacrifices himself so that Hank can escape; Angel flies back to the states with Cyclops and Jean following close behind; Iceman is taken to Trask's Sentinel base where he meets up with Lorna and Alex, now called Havok with a containment suit built by Trask. "Do or Die, Baby" (first 9 pages from UXM 59), script by Roy Thomas, pencils by Neal Adams, inks by Tom Palmer; With Larry Trask revealed to be a mutant, the Sentinels refuse to obey him any more as they continue to capture mutants and prepare to kill them; Cyclops, Jean and Beast mount an offensive to rescue their captured friends. New Mike Zeck/Palmer splash page, one-page John Byrne introduction, and the original version of Adams's X-Men 56 cover that was rejected.

Tom Palmer is an award winning American artist best known for extensive work for Marvel Comics, including well-remembered runs paired with pencilers Neal Adams on The Avengers and Uncanny X-Men; Gene Colan, on titles such as Doctor Strange, Daredevil and Tomb of Dracula; and John Buscema, on The Avengers. He also inked the entire run of John Byrne’s X-Men: The Hidden Years, and has influenced later generations of inkers like Klaus Janson, Josef Rubinstein and Bob McLeod.
