Legendary creator Dick Briefer revisited the legend of Frankenstein in this wild series about a bored mad scientist finding inspiration in Mary Shelley's novel. The result is one of the weirdest books ever made, and a truly extraordinary pop-culture curio from 1945. This was one of the first titles that spurred on both comics and horror fans desperate to track down the series' very rare run—which launched with this #1 featuring a Frank Sinatra parody!
