Great Silver Age Subby page by Buscema and Adkins, from the story "And to the Vanquished, Death!". Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

John Buscema seemed to master mood and dynamic figure drawing right from the get go, as can be seen here on one of his earliest high profile gigs.

Artists Information

'The Michelangelo of comics.' Buscema was one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s heyday, best known for his run on the The Avengers and The Silver Surfer, and for over 200 stories featuring the sword-and-sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian. In addition, he penciled at least one issue of nearly every major Marvel title, including long runs on two of the company's top books, Fantastic Four and Thor.

Dan Adkins is an American comic book artist/ illustrator who's mainly worked for comics and science fiction magazines. Dan's most notable works include Marvel's Doctor Strange and Famous Monsters of Filmland.
