Power Nelson vs ape battle cvr
Prize Comics was pulp publisher Crestwood's contribution to the burgeoning comic book marketplace of the Golden Age, the company would go on to put out a variety of genre books, ranging from horror to romance, but Prize would be the mainstay for their superhero stable throughout the 40s. This issue features the typical smorgasbord that anthology books offered throughout the Golden Age, we have stories starring Power Nelson, Dr. Dekkar, Master of Monsters, Black Owl, Jaxon of the Jungle and Storm Curtis, with artistic contributions from GA stalwarts Pete Riss, Jack Binder, Dick Briefer and William Rowland. For those fans out there who love to delve into the strange back alleys and shadowy corners of the Golden Age, this is a real "deep cut" featuring some forgotten heroes who are sure to thrill the collectors of these treasures of yesteryear.
