Still in his infancy, Superman shows us his strength by ripping the turret off an enemy tank on this Joe Shuster cover. With this issue, the regular Superman covers in the series begin, and this comic also debuted the first published advertising appearance of some of the most important superheroes to follow, Flash and Hawkman.
