DESCRIPTION
Bob Montana pencils and inks; 12/5/1953 daily strip; image size 19" x 6"Wonderful Archie daily by Montana from 1953 with a great gag, featuring Archie, Veronica and Mr. Lodge. Pen and ink. Art is on very good condition, there is some glue residue along the bottom of the strip. Signed by Montana.

Bob Montana was an American comic book artist who created the pop phenomenon named Archie Andrews in Pep Comics, and later in his own self-titled comic. He would also create the template for the many supporting characters inhabiting Riverdale that have stood to this day.
