DESCRIPTION
Jeff Smith pencils and inks; lot of 3 sketches (see extended comments for individual information); 1996, 97, 2000; image size 7" x 10.5" - 8.5" x 11"Three fantastic sketches featuring characters from Jeff Smith's modern classic Bone. The first is of the Red Dragon with Ted the Bug from 1996 (8.5" x 11"), second is a wonderful drawing of Thorn and Fone Bone, also with Ted the Bug from 1997 (8.5" x 11"), and last but not least is a great depiction of a Rat Creature with, you guessed it, Ted the Bug from 2000 (7" x 10.5"). All three drawings are rendered in pen and ink and are in excellent condition. Each drawing is inscribed, signed and dated by Smith.

Jeff Smith is the award winning creator of the self published comic series Bone (soon to be an animated series on Netflix), RASL, and the DC mini-series Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil. Bone has developed a rabid fan following since it's debut as a black and white series in 1991 published by his own Cartoon Books (which he still runs with his wife), with the colored volumes released by Scholastic becoming perennial bestsellers.
