RARE; classic Space Demon coverThis early entry from Exciting Comics' sixty-nine issue run is a shining example of Golden Age anthology action and intrigue. The main standout being the ribald, sci-fi Max Plaisted entry "The Space Rovers", which is referenced on the book's thrilling cover, featuring the Flash Gordon-esque Ted Hunt in a story that very well may have influenced the Twilight Zone episode "People Are Alike All Over" concerning human pets in an alien zoo. Other entries feature The Mask, The Sphinx and other classic GA characters, as well as far flung tales of bravado, gangland capers, and even a crazed gorilla!
