It presents great action panels of Colossus, Cyclops, and Wolverine putting a beating on Eric the Red, also featuring Storm, Nightcrawler, and Banshee. The main image, of the team and it's spectacular depiction of Firelord, is as classic Claremont X-Men as it gets. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition, there is some discoloring and light wear due to age.

Cockrum was a prolific and inventive costume designer who updated the uniforms of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He did the same for the new X-Men and many of their antagonists in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Bob Layton is an American Comic book artist/ writer who co-founded Valiant Comics. His most famous works were at Marvel where he worked on a number of titles including Iron Man #128, the infamous demon in a bottle story line.
