DESCRIPTION
Frank Brunner pencils/Ernie Chan inks; page 1; 1973; image size 10" x 15"Fabulous cosmic Dr. Strange splash by Brunner and Chan (as Ernie Chua), from the story 'The Crypts of Kaa-U!'. Brunner's third work on Dr. Strange, and only his second as penciller! Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

Ernesto "Ernie" Chan born and sometimes credited as Ernie Chua, was a Chinese-American comics artist, known for work published by Marvel Comics and DC Comics, including many Marvel issues of series featuring Conan the Barbarian. Chan also had a long tenure on Batman and Detective Comics. Other than his work on Batman, Chan primarily focused on non-superhero characters, staying mostly in the genres of horror, war, and sword and sorcery.
Frank Brunner (born February 21, 1949)[1] is an American comics artist and illustrator best known for his work at Marvel Comics in the 1970s. Brunner started as a writer/artist at Warren for Eerie, Creepy and Vampirella, at Marvel he worked on Howard the Duck, Tomb of Dracula and other horror anthologies, he also worked on Heavy Metal magazine with Elric creator Michael Moorcock.
