Maleficent's Goons production cel; 1959; w/Gold Art Corner seal; image size 7" x 5.5"Maleficent's Goons, seen here startled by something off screen in this wonderful hand-painted production cel from Walt Disney's 1959 feature Sleeping Beauty, considered by many to be the last film from Disney's Golden Age of feature animation. The level of detail in the film is seen here in this cel, with fantastic, clean representations of the six goons. Framed and matted to 14.75" x 12.5", includes the rare Gold Art Corner seal on the back of the frame indicating that it was purchased directly from Disneyland. Good condition, there is some paint loss that may require restoration.
