John Carpenter classic; Jamie Lee Curtis (debut) & Donald Pleasance; 1st entry in the Halloween franchiseThis rare VHS is from the second printing by Media Home Entertainment, released in 1981 to coincide with the release of Halloween II, These printings have the original sound mix from the film, which is only found on a few disc releases. Both of these VHS releases misspelled Michael Myers as "Meyers" in the promotional copy at the back of the box, setting a trend that continued through many home video releases.
