Battling the sinister megalomaniac Zarkko, who is hellbent on bringing war back to his peaceful future world, Thor travels 300 years into the future to defeat the Tomorrow Man and thwart his plans to unleash a Cobalt bomb on his society. These early Asgardian issues set the stage for the son of Odin to join the ranks of Marvel’s elite, and he remains a popular hero in the modern era.
