Great Bronze Age cover, one of the best of the entire run, from the comic book spin-off of the wildly popular Welcome Back, Kotter television show, the cover features Kotter himself (played in the show by Gabe Kaplan), Vinnie Barbarino (John Travolta), Arnold Horshack (Ron Palillo), Freddie "Boom Boom" Washington (Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs), and Juan Epstein (Robert Hegyes) having fun at the expense of vice principal Woodman (John Sylvester White). A wonderful piece of comics and entertainment history. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Oksner.

Illustrator primarily known for his humor comics at DC, Adventures of Jerry Lewis, Adventures of Bob Hope, Sgt. BIlko, Welcome Back Kotter, etc...Oksner made the transition to hero books when the humor market dried up, he worked on Superman, Shazam! and even Ambush Bug.
