Event Auction Highlights: Concert Posters

ComicConnect brings to auction another selection of CGC-graded original concert posters from The Ultrasound Collection. All the pieces hail from the Pacific Northwest and were created by noted poster artist Mike King as featured in his book “Maximum Plunder: The Poster Art of Mike King.” They span the period from the mid-1980s up into the 2000s and run the gamut from Alternative to Hip-Hop, Indy, Punk, Metal, Funk, and more.

These rare posters were used to advertise concerts and were often discarded after the event, making them desirable collectibles for music lovers everywhere.

Artists featured include Anthrax, Faith No More, Fishbone, George Clinton, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Nirvana, Oasis, Sonic Youth, St. Vincent, The Black Crowes, The Misfits, The Roots, The Reverend Horton Heat, They Might Be Giants, “Weird” Al Yankovic, Wilco and many more.
