In issue #7 of Super-Villain Team-Up, Dr. Doom has just sent his enemies, the Fantastic Four, home from Latveria after making a diplomatic arrangement with Henry Kissinger, meanwhile, Namor has become enslaved by Doom and forced to do his bidding. Into this tense situation a new superhero arrives, the Shroud, who has spent his entire life training himself to physical and mental perfection and plotting to kill Victor Von Doom in a bid to vault himself into superhero stardom. This page shows Shroud confronting Doom, and challenging him to a fight to the death, which leads to a slugfest of epic proportions.
Herb Trimpe's pencils and Pablo Marcos' inks combine seamlessly to breathe life into this battle page, as Doom and the young upstart, Shroud, duke it out. The two veteran artists bring the action to the fore with skills honed over years in the industry. Fans of Bronze Age art will surely drool over this amazing page, and with rumors swirling about a Dr. Doom movie, snapping up this page which prominently features the Lord of Latveria in four of the five panels is a shrewd move.
