Marc Lasry CollectionThe colorful, detailed cover, rendered with great skill by Golden Age pioneer Leo O'Mealia, is atypical of most comics from the era, which were generally crude and amateurish, making this book one of the most sought after from the dawn of comics. Even better, this issue features the very first appearance of Jimmy Olsen, although not named in the issue, Jimmy makes his debut in the Superman feature as a lowly office clerk and not the photojournalist he is known as today.
It's not often that ComicConnect sees this many early Action Comics in such high grade all at once. This copy, in VF (8.0) grade, has a great gorilla cover and white/off-white pages, with solid colors which will likely make it one of the sleeper surprises of the Marc Lasry auction.
