ow/white pgs; terrific eye appeal, presents so much better than a 3.5
origin of Green Lantern retold; classic cover
First appearing in All American #16, the Green Lantern was so popular he earned his own title. Artist Howard Purcell's iconic cover is known throughout the comic world because of the black background and dynamic rendering of our hero fighting an evildoer. The premiere issue showcases a retelling of the origin of the Golden Age Green Lantern and Includes bios and photos of Bill Finger and Martin Nodell as well as a William Moulton Marston photo.
Never before offered to the general public, these original owner comic books are freshly graded and ready for sale to an astute collector!

The original owner purchased these directly from a local variety and drug store in South Carolina, using his personal allowance. He lovingly kept them for about 75 years, eventually in a safe deposit box, and decided recently it was time to let somebody else appreciate and admire these rare babies.
