Back Cvr; Cliff Rathburn pencils, inks, and signed; image size is 17" x 11"; originally published Nov. 12, 2008After beginning his career at DC, inker Cliff Rathburn found himself a home as the greyscale inker for the Walking Dead, and also contributed many of the stunning, gory and memorable back cover illustrations for the series. This particular piece contains many winks to the discerning horror fan, from the Vampirella shirt, to the collapsed mohawk and even the biohazard sign and alarming headline posters in the background, this is another in a long line of Rathburn's indelible walker images that have become part and parcel of the beloved series.
