Negan thinks Rick is dead and is surprised to find him still alive when he visits the Hilltop community. Speaking after all they have been through in bitter opposition to one another, Negan begins to come around and see that his protection methods were too extreme. Despite Negan's change of heart, Rick whips out a knife and slashes his throat.
