Rampaging Hulk was a large format black and white publication put out by Marvel Comics in the 70s, during the period the imprint had a lot of success with their line of magazines that included adult-themed content, titles like Savage Sword of Conan, Savage Tales, and The Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu joined Rampaging Hulk on stationary store racks around the country until the novelty wore off and many of the titles were canceled in the colorful 80s.

This page from Rampaging Hulk #4 was penciled by the stellar Jim Starlin and inked by the talented Alex Nino, it is a moody page that shows the Hulk and a wizard named Chen K'an as they travel through a desolate landscape towards Tyroc, the Citadel of Terror, where the mage hopes to recover an important artifact. He has imbued the Hulk with some of Bruce Banner's intelligence in order to keep the brute docile for their journey. The foreboding background and magnificent tower are reminiscent of something out of Heavy Metal magazine. A lovely page that should be attractive to Hulk fans and sci-fi devotees alike.
