The comic book world is fortunate to attract special talents who have become some of the greatest artists in the medium; Kirby, Ditko, Perez, and Steranko to name a few. One artist whose legendary place is secured in fandom is Neal Adams. His extreme form of realism has influenced the approach of every comic book illustrator worth their salt since he appeared on the scene. This fabulous cover from Justice League of America #96 shows off Adams' dynamic skills and is complemented by another industry great, Dick Giordano, who inked it just so. This piece features several of the big stars from the JLA, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman, as they are under attack by Starbreaker, who makes his debut in this very issue! Neal Adams art is some of the most highly sought-after art by collectors, and his hammer prices reflect the intense interest his works garner.
