Highest GradedCentaur Comics was one of the earliest and quirkiest publishers to compete in the comic book boom of the late 30s. Publishing titles like Detective Eye, Western Picture Stories, Star Ranger Funnies and Amazing Man Comics, the imprint covered all of the bases, dipping into every genre under the sun. This oddball comic, Little Giant Comics was one of the anthology books that flooded the marketplace in those early, anything goes days of comics, when the American Dream was being lived one dime at a time. Kids were snapping up funny books in droves, and ambitious businessmen were more than happy to supply issues of all shapes and sizes, these truly were the "Wild West" days of the industry.
Little Giant Comics #3 is digest sized, and extremely tough to find, making this blue-label mid-grade copy a very rare treat indeed. Despite the foxing on the cover, this book is in fact the highest-graded copy on the census, only one-of-two overall, making this comic the rarest of the rare, a definite target for collectors of the unusual and hard-to-find offerings of the era.
