The book featured the adventures of Shock Gibson, Captain Freedom, and eventually Black Cat, as the trio joined forces for several issues which enjoyed the great honor of being wrapped in illustrations by the master of Golden Age covers, Alex Schomburg. This volume includes a classic Schomburg Hitler cover (issue #31), among other Schomburg masterpieces that employed his delerious chaotic style that so many fans of the time period adore.
