classic and awesome Lou Fine Uncle Sam vs. Green Nazi skeleton WWII cover
CGC G/VG: 3.0
There's no two ways about it, simply stated, this Reed Crandall cover is an insane Golden Age wartime classic. A gigantic Uncle Sam is throwing down against a huge green skeleton in a Kaiser helmet, and not only is this monstrosity wielding a wacky red spiked ball, but is also lifting a battleship high into the air as the ship fires cannons back at him, and lets not forget the bombers flying around in the background. These types of comics are the reason why collectors fall in love with the Golden Age, anything an artist could think of could wind up on these chaotic, surreal, and highly memorable covers that were trying to outdo one another on newsstands across the country.
