Hulk and Ant-Man!

Hell is a Very Small Hulk!

Fabulous cover by Trimpe from his celebrated run on The Incredible Hulk. Trimpe's Hulk covers are some of the most desirable of Marvel's Bronze Age, and the collectors who have them treasure them dearly. As a result, they very rarely come to sale publicly. The last record of public sale we could find, was almost 10 years ago, making this a very rare opportunity. This cover features The Hulk shrunk down to Ant-Man's size and the two of them being attacked by plague rats! Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Trimpe and Severin.

The paste-ups are all original, the Ant-Man figure that crosses into the title stat is original art drawn over the stat.

Artists Information

John Powers Severin was an American comics artist noted for his distinctive work with EC Comics, primarily on the war comics Two-Fisted Tales and Frontline Combat; for Marvel Comics, especially its war and Western comics; and for his 45-year stint with the satiric magazine Cracked. He was one of the founding cartoonists of Mad in 1952. Severin was inducted into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2003.

Herb Trimpe was an American comics artist and occasional writer, best known as the seminal 1970s artist on The Incredible Hulk and as the first artist to draw for publication the character Wolverine, who later became a breakout star of the X-Men. During his career he would draw nearly every character in the Marvel stable, and a few that weren't including memorable work he provided for Marvel's 1980's licensed titles for Godzilla, Shogun Warriors and The Transformers.
