Timely took no chances in promoting their top-line heroes and plugged them into every comic they possibly could, leading to the inevitable anthology all-star mashup title. With Captain America, Human Torch, and Sub-Mariner under one banner, graced by a classically unrestrained Schomburg cover, this debut issue was an instant success. These popular wartime superheroes acted as a magnet to war-weary readers hungry for excitement. This cover image eventually became an iconic classic, one of the most famous of WWII comics propaganda pieces and a firm favorite of the army of collectors that keep Schomburg's reputation alive.

This VG- copy of All-Select Comics #1 is in stable condition, the colors are vivid and retain their punch, while the majority of wear is relegated to the perimeter of the book.
