Early Boba Fett comic appearance! pre-Star Wars #42Barely two months after the release of The Empire Strikes Back, about one year and eight months or so after his appearance in The Star Wars Holiday Special (which followed, by just about two months, his absolute first appearance ever, which was a local parade in George Lucas' home town (Marin County)), and slightly over one month after his first appearance in the comic strip (still months away from the September 1980 release of Marvel's Star Wars #42), Boba Fett takes center stage in one of the best examples of him in a daily strip. Boba Fett is seen here using his Mandalorian armor to assist Luke Skywalker and Han Solo gaining entrance to a locked door. Wonderful drawing from Hoberg, who had only recently begun penciling the strip, and Manning. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
