Dale Keown pencils/Mark Farmer inks; page 24; 1992; image size 10" x 15"The Hulk, after having his flesh stripped away in his battle with Vector, regenerates and is confronted by Agamemnon who informs him of a deal he has made with The Leader. Stunning page from Keown, the defining Hulk artist of his era, the regeneration sequence as well as the hero shot in panel four are quintessential Keown. The image in panel 4 is as classic an image as you will find, and is one of, if not the earliest example of this particular pose that would become one of Keown's trademarks. A beautiful page, from an artist and title that great pages rarely come up for sale. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.

Dale Keown is a Canadian comic book who first rose to prominence during his tenure with Peter David on the Incredible Hulk in the late 80s, and then for his creator-owned work on Pitt for Image Comics.
