DESCRIPTION
Lee Bermejo pencils and inks; illustration; undated; image size 9" x 11.5"Beautiful illustration by Bermejo, paying tribute to Pop art master Roy Lichtenstein. Bermejo gives a classic take on a romance comic panel, here with an Elephant Man-esque character as the object of affection, with a lovingly rendered ink wash. Pen and ink w/ink wash. Art is in excellent condition. Signed by Bermejo.
This piece is being sold on behalf of the Lake Como Comic Art Festival, all proceeds of the sale are going directly to the festival.

Lee Bermejo is an American comic book writer and artist whose published work includes interior illustrations and cover art. He is best known for his collaborations with writer Brian Azzarello including Lex Luthor: Man of Steel, the Joker graphic novel, and Before Watchmen: Rorschach.
