This very early appearance of Superman in Brazil re-worked Action Comics #1 which has a Brazilian Variant Cover.

Extremely rare Brazilian exclusive rendition of Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster newstrips from 1938 & 1939, this comic has (28 pgs-B&W/ cvr-black & sepia); no staples; in Portuguese.

The iconic Action Comics #1 cover was re-drawn and is gracing the rear cover of this historic early Superman publication!

Front cover features original Superman rendering by Brazilian artists re-imagining Action Comics #20 with a blonde Superman in red trunks & cape.

There are materials from 1938 and 1939 McClure Newspaper Syndicate daily comic strips by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Back cover reworked version of Action Comics #1 (artist unknown)
