Thanos and Galactus!Thanos guides Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange towards Galactus, while Spider-Man and Pip the Troll wait for their turn in the fight. Great page by Starlin from one of his cosmic epics. Pen and ink. Art is in excellent condition.
Artists Information
After leaving the Navy as a photographer Jim Starlin began his career in comic books where he enjoyed success as both a writer and artist. Starlin credits legendary artists Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko as major influences to his illustration style which is apparent in his early works. For over 40 years hes been known for his space opera-esque stories where he created popular characters such as Thanos, Drax and Gamora. His most notable works include Iron Man Adam Warlock and the Infinity Gauntlet.
Al Milgrom is an American comic book writer, penciler, inker and editor, primarily for Marvel Comics. He is known for his 10-year run as editor of Marvel Fanfare; his long involvement as writer, penciler, and inker on Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man; his four-year tenure as West Coast Avengers penciler; and his long stint as the inker of X-Factor. He often inked Jim Starlin’s work. Milgrom is the co-creator of DC superhero Firestorm.
